.25 nitrites after rescape HELP!!!

I did a major rescape and replaced the filter floss in my filter now my bows are gasping what do I do I added a bubbler and am preparing for water Change what else should I do?

dose the tank with some prime, you probably hit a anerobic bacteria pocket.

its probably unlikely that nitrite is coming from your tap water but you might want to test just to be sure... about two months ago i noticed that after doing water changes my ammonia was higher than before the change. I initially thought my test kit was bad or something, but after testing the tap and finding 1ppm ammonia i found my culprit.
