tank and light

hey guys.... is there any possible way i can keep plant in a .5watts /gal..
its a 35gal tank and i got T6 20watts of light??

Plants: Yes. Any plant: No. With lighting like that, you'll just have to stick to lower light species. Pretty much any Cryptocoryone or Anubias species will be fine, as would mosses, java fern, maybe some Echinodorus species. Just do your research on what will and won't work.

WELL DATS NICE SINCE DATS ALL I WANT IN MY TANK... I DONE MY RESEARCH JUST WASNT SURE ABOUT IT... TY AGAIN

The assumption is that you are using 40 watts of fluorescent light, not incandescent light. And, it would help if the light has a reflector.

ITS 20 WATTS ..... I DONT THINK EVEN LOW LIGHT PLANTS WILL SURVIVE...

What type of bulb is it? The type becomes more critical since its relatively low powered and there is only 1. I have a 20g I keep low light plants in with a singe 15W T6 bulb. Since its only 1 bulb and not very bright I decided to go with a bulb specifically designed for plants the aqua-flora plus, and tried the t6 since it should be more effecient. There me also be a difference with the type of ballast too, mine has one of the crappy 'starters', would probably be brighter with a quality electronic ballast. Mine doesnt have a reflector either, just the white plastic around the bulb. I wouldnt expect a whole lot though, but good luck.

got the same setup as urs..... t6 20watts i would be happy if i only have moss...
