Thanks , it has been a lot of work to figure out all the little things that go into a successful and healthy planted tank.
I couldnt have done it with out the help from this forum and all the people here.
I am still learning new stuff everyday.
Now my Rams are breeding as well as my killis.
Gonna have to get some more tanks

Love the Blyxa's they are easy and make a good mid ground / foreground plant.
I have tried lots of ground cover stuff and it all grew but was soooo high maintenance when it came to trimming and planting and such that we decided to go with the japonicas.I ordered 5 plants on aquabid 3 months ago and as you can see they have propogated into about 30.I now have them in all my tanks and need to start splitting them again.
Luckily the LFS will give me 4 bucks a piece for them

Question

I notices on your power head a tube? Co2 or just air?

Just air we have found it is easier to run the co2 levels higher and then we can compensate later in the day and at night with air and surface disruption by raising the filter output up to the top of the water.
I have a tunze regulator on a 5 lb tank with a manifold running to 2 tanks , it is almost impossible to keep co2 levels optimal at all times with the regulator so we have found that by doing this we can build levels in the am before lights come on and maintain them throughout the day.
I am running 2 aquatic life t5ho fixtures ...1 comes on at 10 am till 6 pm and the other comes on at noon and runs till 4pm.
This coupled with the high c02 levels and added flow of the powerhead has helped us completely get rid of the hair algae that was threatening to take over my tank.

Nice tank, and bows. Looks like the Lacustris male is showing off a little. Gotta love the breeding stripe.
