Anchoring Riccia with hairgrass

What's the technique for keeping Riccia down using hairgrass? Any tips?

Thanks in advance.

It's easier and less messy to use mesh and rocks/wood.

Thanks. I've used stones/netting before.

I'd like hairgrass accents amongst the Riccia. I guess I could have the grass between stones if it's too hard.

Try small stones with the riccia tied on. It also makes trimming riccia a lot easier. Plus you can move them around. You could also leave specific pathways in between the riccia stones for the effect that Amano uses (hairgrass growing through riccia). I think it will look really good in your tank.

I think the first rocks looked better as well. Just my opinion.
