Exclamation What the hell is this beasty in my tank?

Just doing a water change and came across this strange spider looking thing.

Any ideas?

It's a dragonfly larvae for sure. It can/will eat small fishies. I would get it out if you have anything that will it will eat. If not, enjoy it. It'll eventually turn into a neat dragonfly!

lol i had a couple of them in my tank, scared me to death when i moved my driftwood. They are pretty neat but ig you have small neons or tetras be carefull. I had a pleco and 4inch gouramis in mine. I eventually caught the suckers and put them in my dempsey tank. free fish food is great!
