29 gallon build???

First of all this is my first post so Hello to all.
I have a 29 gallon tank sitting in the closet and it needs to be filled.
I also have a ac110 and was wondering if that would be to much flow for this tank? Also what light fixture would u suggest. I plan on a low tech tank cause I don't want to mess with CO2.

I wouldnt say it's too much flow. I keep a emperor 400 on a 29g, and it's fine. As far as light goes a standard dual strip 30" t5 or glass lids with 2 dome lights on top with 6500k cfl bulbs.

I'm not into the image, but into the hobby...

What ever is quieter i'd go with. I only choose the emperor cause i have a lot of them, and i think it's easier to modify.

I have a very similar model made by Zoomed, also 48 watts, and it did a great job growing plants.

Is that a high output light? if so I would think that would be way to much light for a 29 trying to not inject C02. There are other options including a coralife t5no, marineland doublebright, finnex fugeray, aqueon led, and probably more.
