Will moss attach to Aquasoil?

Just wondering if anyone has tried dry starting moss directly on their substrate and if it worked?

Sooner or later it will plant itself in (almost) any substrate. And wood, and stones, and decorations. All over the place.

This same method could be used to make a nice moss carpet on AS via DSM. You don't have to wait for it to completely grow out, just long enough for it to attach.

That thread gave me a lot of ideas. Not sure if he attached it directly to the soil, but I'll be giving it a try.
