Looking for Idea's/advice

I have a Fluval 205 in my well planted 29G.
I'm looking for advice on getting the water to move around better. I have a lot of dead area's where junk collects. I tried to readjust the return but that just makes another dead spot somewhere else. I cleaned my filter to make sure that I have as much water flow as I can.
Is there any replacement water tubes that might be better than what came with the filter?

Joe

What kind of output does the 205 have? Please excuse my ignorance.

I would suggest you look into making a DIY spraybar, if that's not what you have now. There are so many ways to configure it to eliminate dead spots, it would be worth the effort!

When I had a 29 gallon I ended up using a powerhead to get the water circulation I wanted. But, a spraybar works very well too. It does take regular maintenance to keep the holes all clean and open - some form of algae tended to grow inside my spray bar.
