What kind of CFL bulb to get?

Trying to get a clamp light with a CFL bulb in it for my 7 gallon long, since it apparently works! I'm not sure what kind of CFL bulb I should be getting though. How many watts is appropriate to gain medium~high light for my tank?

It's is 24 inches long, and about 7 inches tall.

I use 13w daylight bulbs on my 10g tanks they work fairly well. Due to the length of that tank you might want to use two. I also sometimes use 25w bulbs but I keep those higher above the tank. None of the plants in those tanks are especially high light. Hope that helps.

Here is a par chart for CFL bulbs.

You would probably need 2 clip on lights. 23w bulbs. Suspend them about 6" or more above the water surface. You should get into the medium lighting.
