Questions about my tap water

I am just getting set up to start a new tank since moving this summer to the Southwestern Ohio area. I want to keep a wide variety of plants and will be using DIY CO2 along with an Orbit 2X40 watt CF lighting fixture. My tank is a tall 16 gallon bowfront and I have it set up with driftwood and Flourite substrtae so far.
I just tested my water and the GH is probably less than 1 degree but the KH is 12 ( I'm using the Aquarium Pharmacuetical kit). With a KH of 12 my PH is running somewhere around 7.5 to 7.8. Will I have to use Acid Buffer to get this down or what is some type of strategy you would reccomend..based on your experiences? Thanks.
