Are they good or bad. I've heard mixed info. I've got about eight in my 29g right now. I'm expecting I'll have about 20 in a week.

Any info?

Not a problem as long as you resign to having their shells in your substrate forever...

Yeah, I did a little follow up on them. I put the four of them that I could find in my 38g scrub tank with my severum. They went right to the glass and after the algae. Not bad.

I had 6 in my 6G. About a month later, I had over 100. They reproduce too quickly, and WILL eat your plants if they're not in good shape.

They do multiply very quickly, and I have watched them crawl over fishfood and algae before without eating any of it... They are very cute though... But I got sick of 100s of tine little snails everywhere... when they are large you can easily catch and destroy them, but going after 1mm juveniles is no joke.
