Superthrive!

I grow Carnivorous plants and Orchids, and I use superthrive all the time and I seem to notice better growth (even though some people say it's snake oil hehe). I was wondering if adding a few drops to the tank would hurt anything? I'm mainly thinking fish and inverts.

It will really depend on the ingredients.
Most terrestrial plant fertalizers have way more Nitrate than we need or want. While less poisonous than Ammonia or Nitrite, it is still poisonous in large quantities to fish.

Here are the ingredients listed. I'm sure it has more...

.09% Vitamin B1, .048% Napthyl acetic acid It says it contains 50+ vitamins and hormones, but I have used up the bottle and threw it away and so i'm havign trouble finding it online. It's not a fertilizer.

It's fine etc.

Will it do much?
Not that I've even seen except in emegent plants such as crypts.

I suspect that the Azoo stuff and other comapnies that sell the phytohormones etc and add them to their products also use something like a jug of Super thrive and add a little in there for safe measure, but they really have no effect in aquatic systems as additives.

Super thrive is much cheaper though than the aquarium based products.
