Lava Rock and Soybean

I just recently heared that there was a new product in which lava rock was mixed with soybean products and it turned waste and excreta into Co2? HAs anyone heared of this? I also heared it was very poular in japan and india, IT cleans and kills waste and hamfull bacteria such as e.coli . Could anyone shead some light on this matter ?
