Anyone Shop at This Site:

Just wondering if anyone has shopped at Pet Boulevard -- Welcome. Seems like they have some good prices there, but they seem "iffy".

It looks like they have very good prices but they don't tell a hole lot of information about the stuff they're selling.

I just took a brief peek, and from what I saw, their prices aren't so hot. For example, they wanted $170 for an XP3 and $335 for an Eheim 2128. Those are both cheaper at Foster and Smith, and I know they're reputable.

I agree, Drs. F&S are oftentimes hard to beat on prices after shipping--especially when I buy a lot of different goods at once. And I don't think their Customer Service can be beaten....

I have never purchased from Pet Blvd, but I too noticed the $170 for the xP3. Other prices generally looked "Ok", but I would be careful what you buy from them---some of it is outrageous IMO.

The only one thing (so far) that I wanted to order from them was a Eheim 2213, but I will give Drs. F&S a look.

I had ordered a glass diffusor from foster smith and it had arrived in pieces.

I called them and they sent another, only to have this one arrive in pieces as well.

I called them back yet again and they sent another, only this time they had packaged it in bubble wrap, styrofoam . . . etc.

Moral of the story, they do indeed have awesome customer service, considering they replaced it free of charge each time. =]

So, I checked out Drs. F&S. Even though they are just a few bucks more expensive than petblvd, I'll be ordering from them.

Thank you everyone!

Pet Boulevard has an awesome selection of nano tanks for sale, and at good prices. I haven't seen that nice a selection anywhere else. But, it doesn't even say where they are located, and, as noted above, no information at all about the products.

Hi All,

I apologize for the lack of descriptions on many of the items on our website. I have been concentrating on obtaining as many pictures as possible for the over 35,000 item we carry. With this many items however, it takes me quite a while to get the pictures and information.

For the question of where we are located, we are located in Herndon, VA, but our products ship out of multiple locations in order to reduce the shipping charges to our customers.

We try to offer as many pet products as we can find as the lowest prices possible. Obviously, as Canoe2Can pointed out, we are not always successful at having the lowest price, but I think you will find that overall, our prices are excellent. Now that I know the XP3 is more expensive than some of our competitors, I will contact our distributor to try to obtain a better price so that we can lower our price to you.

If anybody is looking at a product, but does not see a description or picture and would like one, please let me know at [email protected] and I will try to get a picture and description of the product posted right away.

Thank you,
Nicholas Cook

Mr. Cook, you may want to mention this under your "about us" area, instead of burying it under your sales tax policy section.
I'm always weary of buying from websights that seem to want to hide their brick and mortar location, even if they mostly dropship.

It's awesome to see that some of the vendors actually read and post on sites! To me that shows that they care about what they are selling and are trying to learn not only about the selling but aslo about the hobby. Good job guys!!! Keep those vendors hopping!
