Water mushroom?

My tank is infested with clear white muchroom like tiny things. They are about the size of a tiny rice and they move along with the current. I noticed them about a week ago and now they are all over glass wall inside the tank. But they don't go onto the plants or the driftwood. Has anyone seen them? How do I get rid of them? They look disgusting...

Can you get a picture?

Something so expensive and addictive HAS to be illegal. I'm just waiting for the police to break down my door and confinscate my fish food.

They look different from the link Wasserpest. All the close up pictures come out blurry... They look like jelly fish on a stick without the tentacles.

Could be the current... turn off your filter a few minutes, and see if they change shape.

It's over now. I saw some worms when I was trying to take the detail pictures... I moved the fish and the shrimp to a bucket. I took out all the water and put cold tap water in it. The temperature went down from around 77' to around 60'. I see all these guys shrinked, hopefully it will kill them all. The tank is in the middle of cycling and it only has java fern, hairgrass, a fish and a shrimp. I bought five fishes but 4 died so I wonder if it was because of the parasites and not ammonia spike.
