Just got a sprig of this yesterday for free.

May not be the greatest picture.

How does "George" work for you?

Sean

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

You're naming your plant after me?

I'm honored.

It's really hard to tell because it is so small, see if it grows and then snap another pic for us.

George

I apologize for sidetracking your thread, if you could get a better picture where we can see how the leaves are arraigned we might be able to guess at the plantís species. We need to be able to see how the leaves attach to the stem in relation to each other.

I'm glad George was honored by the name suggestion.

Looks like Heteranthera zosterifolia aka Stargrass aka "George".

A better picture would help for sure.

It looks like stargrass, but it's not.

I'll wait till it gets bigger.

I can't really make out the plant, but to me, it kind of looks like Diandra.
Maybe not?

No way that's diandra. A better picture would help, particularly of the crown. It looks almost as if the leaves have a planar arrangement, making it a Potamogeton species, but it looks too much like stargrass for me to think it's anything other than that.
