Airline falling apart?

I don't think this is good... Im wondering why its happening at the end of my co2 injection hose... its almost like its giving off some sort of a film (it is on the surface of the water too) here are some pictures







what should I do about this? any way to fix it?

Is this Pressurized or diy CO2?

I thought this was going to be about Northwest.

It's not some sort of biological film is it? I'm sure you ruled that out already. It just doesn't look like what I'd expect!

its diy yeast

it might be biological... i don't know if its harmful or not

A good cleaning, and hooking up a diy gas separator will fix this.

actually upon further investigation, it seems like the airline itself is deteriating... I should probably just switch it out shouldn't I?

Its yeast! You could make a ga seperator. Do a search Im sure you will find something. Nerite snails will also eat it.

Looks like yeast snot to me....it doesn't taste half bad either!!

lol, jk...a gas separator should eliminate the problem, I use one on mine and I still get a little snot in the end of the tube but its not as bad as it was before I started using the gas separator/bubble counter...
