What's the fastest stem plant you have had growing in your tanks? We've had votes for Wysteria, rotala indica, and stargrass. Anyone else want to toss in a plant name?

Sean

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

Since Water Sprite isn't a stem plant, my vote goes to....

AMBULIA

My Sunset Hygro outgrows the Rotala indica next to it by at least 2-3x.

Rotala indica in my tank now. Used to be HygroPolysperma. My Rotala has grown like 10" in the last 2 weeks.

Moneywort?! That plant grows on its own pace in my tank...but the fastest I've had was Cabomba.

I agree with Wasserpest, Ambulia! Although some of the others, such as R. indica and H. polysperma do come in a close second.

EDIT: Let me not forget L. repens, my latest weed that is annoying me with it's constant need for trimming.

George
