This is a plant i brought around a week ago, its around 4 inches tall and i reckon its a wort of some type...?

Looks like a lysimachia nummularia to me too. The common name for this plant is a Creeping jenny. This plant is usually found in damp or partially submerged waters, unfortunatly it doesnt like warm waters it does best in cooler water (15-22 oC). Given the right conditions it should grow to a decent size of about 16in.

Thsi plant is very common in wet areas of my back yard. I haven't tried it in the aquaria, but it is doing well partially emersed in a vivaria

I have had some of that in my tanks for quite a while, allthough it hasn't died or withered it hasn't grown any either. It has started loooking better and I may be imagining some growth since the previous light upgrade over the weekend... It certainly has bunced up towards the light.

I think it looks very pretty when planted densely together. Will charge batteries for camera quickly....
