city water... large water changes

city water ... how do you do large water changes? tank will be 55gal.. so weekly water changes would be 20ish gal! it would be wonderful to run a waterline to the tank from the kitchen........

I can run the waterline to the tub to drain of course..... but refiling it with a 5gal bucket...

fill prep with start right dump into tank 4 times..urggg

why not get a python? They make them very long, mine is 25 ft. and I know it comes longer than that. Tina

Python is the way to go. I just add the proper amount of dechlorinator to the tank before filling it up - works like a charm.

So adding startright, etc before I do the water change, after i do the drain.. will be fine... great thats what i wanted to know.
