Quick help! How to plant Hydrocotyle

I just got a bunch of plants in but am having a hard time figuring out how to play hydrocotyle japonica. Do I cut it and plant the stem?

Plant in as a group of a few nodes or leaves with tweezers/tongs.

Ok thats pretty much what I have been doing. I have been cutting at where it forms a T and planting it vertically. I think I may be over-doing it because I am doing a lot of single nodes. I also bought about 5 times more Hydrocotyle that any human could use in a 29 gallon.

Will h. japonica survive in a low tech tank?
