I have a little 15G on my kitchen counter. Space is tight, so it has a Marineland Eclipse 2 hood/light/filter.

This 15G really needs to be redone. My question is:
Would it be worth it to retrofit in some better lighting (what product), or should I add new lights and filter?

Mike

IMHO, I would get better lighting. You could put a PC in there but you would still be dealing with the lousy reflector and the angle that puts the light toward the back of the tank and leaves the front dark.

Sam... It would have 15 watts.

I thought so Rex.
I have to tell you, I have read so many of your posts telling people to check out AH Supply and do a retro fit that I had to think about it!

Hey Mike,

if you go for the retrofit I'll come over and help you hook it up! It'll be a learning experience.
