What the heck is in my tank!?

So i look into my tank right now, and 'growing' off of my wood is this white, transluscent, hairy mold... (it looks like mold at least). The only thing that has changed recently is that i added a CO2 system onto my tank....anyone have any idea what this stuff could be? i tried taking a picture but because of how white/clearish it is, it won't show up on camera...

No clue. Scrape it off and get it out of your tank..

i just realized, when i had posted this originally, about a week prior i accidently added 1.10g of KNO3 instead of 0.10g....i think that brought my nitrates up to about 50ppm....anyone know if this could make this fungi come? the addition of CO2 and the crazy high ntirates are the only things that have changed...

I had some of this on a piece of driftwood and the snails in my tank decimated it in two days......

I had some of that show up on my driftwood, and my otos ate it off in no time at all.
