Wondering how alone, if I am on the fact of sitting in front of aquarium, talking to the fishies and plants

How many are guilty of this?..LOL

Hehe, I don't really talk to them, but I do "play" with them. Pretty much all my fish, except the oto's, love it when I move my finger across the tank. They all follow it and seem to stare at it when it stops. My Rams seem to enjoy this the most, they never lose wonder in my digits

I'm guilty. I talk to my fish more then anyone else. The plants don't get as much attention, but still more then the average person.

I usually greet my fish when I get home from work. My fiance thinks I'm nuts. My rams are also very interested in my fingers but I think they know that is where the food comes from

I don't. But my wife does. She anthropomorphizes all of our animals.

Yep. Me too. But best of all is watching my two year old daughter talk to them. I think they actually have conversations!

I call one of my fish stupid and tell him to learn how to eat the right way.

I guess I'm a sexist. I just realized it when reading this thread. Most of the fish in my tank are female. But I always refer to them as the "boys."

Turn on the lights: "Mornin' boys!" or "Wake up, boys!"
Feeding time: "Dinner time, boys!"

I thought it is talking to the fish that keeps me sane!!!!!!!

Unfurtunately my g/f comes and gives them all names, and then when they eventualy die, neither of us wants to flush them.

We were so bad when our one betta which we raised from fry to 3 years old died.

Cape Town, South Africa.

Hi. I'm back.

Fish? There are fish in my plant tanks?

They hide so well I must have forgotten about them.

Sean

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".
