enough lighting for glosso? LSI question also...
i have an eclipse system 6 with dimensions roughly 17''x12''x7'' (very rough measurements). i am thinking about getting the Hellolights 28W nanolight kit. with eco complete substrate, greg watson ferts and DIY yeast CO2, do you guys think i will be able to grow glosso well?
it comes out to about 4.6 watts per gallon, but i know that the wpg rule breaks down with smaller and larger tanks. to calculate the lumens per square inch, as on rex's page, do i take the surface area of the entire tank or just the surface area of the top (where the light is penetrating the surface? in other words do i take the surface area of the cube or the surface area of the top square?
