missing zucchini rinds

so i put blanched zucchini in my tank every couple of days. normally, i remove the rind after a couple of hours. the piece i put in 3 days ago is missing. is it possible that the fish/frog/shrimp ate the rind? the last thing i want is an ammonia spike from a decaying vegetable. the bellies of my ghost shrimp are exceptionally green. could they have eaten it?

my guys eat everything. They leave the rind for a day or two, then go after the rind until it is gone...
No worries...it is good for them~

yep they should eat it all. i know the plecos love the rind because it has the most vitamins and such in them. dont worry about it causing a chemical spike, you'll be fine
