Question I need ideas

Hi,
As some of you guys know ive totally started again with my 30 gallon
I took everything out that was juwel exept the lights.
ive got it all nicley planted, new gravel. New everything literally!
So while its maturing im just wondering wether this would be a good ideafor stocking.
Ive never kept discus before but im going to have a go at keeping them.

These are my ideas for keeping them:
3-4 young discus (not sure wich ones yet, most probs blue turquoise discus or orange melon ones.
6-8 cardinals
4- 4+ Panda corys

Weekly 50% water changes, fed three times a day TetraPrima in the morning, Beef heart at dinner time and maybe frozen food at night not sure on that last feed, advice please smile.gif

Just want to know what your suggestions/ideas are about this. Id like to be advised on which best discus with most colour to keep.

Please help me i could do with some ideas
Thanks!

I wouldn't put any discus in there unless you have a larger tank to move them to when they get too large. I like the look of a good school of smaller fish, like 20-30 cardinals with some bottom dwellers. Maybe one larger "showcase" fish.

yeah i wouldnt do discus in a 30. just too short. plus they do better in bigger groups when they are young.

so i would go with yoink and like 20-30 cardinals and some cories. then maybe some rams or other apisto for a centerpiece fish
