Ever Flown With Fish Fry?????

I'm with the provincial emergency program and being deployed tomorrow morning. I head out on a 7 AM flight, transfer and should get into my destination about 10 AM. I'm totally stressed. These molly babies are 1-day-old. I can't get anyone to come babysit and I don't have a spare tank to take them to someone's home to care for. PLUS it's too late to go to walmart and buy a tank. SO, I'm thinking about bringing them with me on fire deployment. They can stay in my hotel where I can got to feed them 3x a day.

I'm so serious about this. I can't just leave them 3 days to starve while I wait for my roomate to return and help with feedings.

Get yourself a battery operated airpump and an airstone and you should be fine till you get there.

won't an airpump generated too much current ?

what i did since it is only a 3 days trip is this :-

Use a larger container for the fry so that the water quality will not deteriorate that fast. If you use a larger container, the airpump will not generate as much current

use those "vacation food" or whatever food as it will melt over time to provide food for the fry. If you have a automatic feeder, you can use that as well....

The fry should be fine after 3 days...there is no need to take them with you

REALLY? The reading I've done said they have to eat 3x a day!?
They can last 3 days without food?

They're currently in my community tank in a fry net.

What kind of tank are they in now? If it's already established they can probably survive 3 days without you feed them.
