driftwood

jusr woundering everyones thoughts on this. dont want to ruin my tank. it is an excellant deal to me.

Looks like a nice chunk of wood. Do you know what it is made from?

looks good... you make sure its the right size for your tank? I just ordered some driftwood off ebay as well (diff seller).. should arrive sometime in next couple days.

Sure.. the piece i won was from browning39, another seller i would reccomend you check out though is my_goodys97. He (she) posts some really cool driftwood every few days. It used to be with free shipping too, but they've started adding shipping costs ahead now.. still good prices tho IMO.

what is the best wood for use in the aquarium? cypress, cedar????

I'm using a piece of swamp cedar from Texas, it looks good and doesn't leach into the water (thats after boiling in water).

i soaked mine in a bucket for at least two weeks until it stopped turning the water amber.
