does anyone know any other types of plants besides java fern and java moss that you can attach to drift wood (or other types of wood) or rocks?? any info would be awsome.:hehe:

you could attach just but any plant you can think of to the wood just have to tie it down with fishing line or something.....i stuck my Anubias in a hold in my driftwood and within a few days it had enough roots to anchor itself onto the wood......i dont know if the root are "anchoring" it or nto but it provides enough hold to keep it in its place

10 gallon low-tech Betta bowl...for now.

Riccia fluitans anchored to rocks or driftwood also makes a really nice display...

If you get a chance, try to get a look at any of the three books in the Nature Aquarium World Series (three volumes) by Takashi Amano. The things he does with riccia (which is really just a weed!) are amazing. Also, take a look at www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/2339/gallery2.html for some neat pics...
