Hello all- Actally it is for my 6 gallon nano- my titanium one corroded or rusted and broke in half? It would need to be no longer than 7" long. Thanks

I'd go with the Visitherm Stealth Heater. You can get in 25 watts and the black color makes it easy to hide. I've got these in all three of my nanos and have been very pleased with the performance.

Not a via aqua. I like my hydor inline heater -- no problems whatsoever. I also hear that ebo jager heaters are good, although I've never tried one.

What's the temp of the room the tank is in? I say no heater is best in most cases.

Another vote for Visitherm Stealth (all black casing). IME, my Jagers quit on me after a year.

Re-boot!

I like the visitherm stealths as well. Your titanium heater rusted? I thought the reason for titanium was that it would not rust or corrode.

Yeah it was an AZOO 50 watt TITANIUM real small fit perfectly in one of the back chambers in my nano- Took it to work (lab) and ran it for 3 weeks in a bucket pouring cold water in each day to make it come up to temp 79 and each day it was perfect. Even checked it with a magnet to see if it was titanium, but what I think is it is stainless and that will corrode in salt water (some types) So buyer beware.... I am getting the stealth. Thanks alot

I noticed mt titanium heater rusted as well. I kept thinking the brownish color in the water was my driftwood releasing tannins, but I noticed there was crap on my heater. Pulled it out and sure enough, rust. Im thinking it might me a Ti blend or maybe coated. All I know is, I will NEVE buy from that company again.

I think you'll like the Visi-Therm. I use them, not the stealth though, in all my tanks, and they've worked well for me over the years.
