Trimming moss?

I have a nano that is starting to get dominated by my taiwan(i think) moss. Do you just trim this like a hedge? Just net up the stuff that gets trimmed? (although thats damn near impossible in a full 4g..)

I did try searching but only really found people selling this stuff.

you can trim it with a scissors... or just pull it. Hold the scissor in one hand and the ends you are trimming in the other and snip it off (Might be hard to get both hands in your tank). Place the ends in a container and keep trimming like this till you get a trim you like. Net up any ends that floated away... and sell it. What kind of moss was it? I might be interested in a trade.

Cheers, Whitepine

I'm fairly sure it is "Taiwan Moss" or some variant of it. It grows out all spikey and not droopy like java or weeping does. I will try to snap a pic of it hopefully this weekend if I have the time to trim.
