test kit

Hi all- Is there a test kit for potassium ? I dose but I cant find a test kit any where.

There are some but they seem to be very expensive
From what I can tell most people don't test for potassium just dose using the EI method

Only one I have ever seen. But I didnt buy it since I havent had a potassium problem.

Thanks - I bought it- Oh Well -I just have to know 20-40ppm is 20-40 ppm. I want 30 ppm damn it!!!! I am going to have the most killer tank I can possibly get - I am tired of the algae and snail out breaks.

If you are tired of algae outbreaks the best thing you can do is make a paperweight out of the carbo plus unit, buy a pressurized CO2 system and crank up the ppm until just before the fish start showing distress. By far the most important things to do to avoid algae are, don't have too much light and do have a surplus of CO2 every day.

If you are worried about snails get some Botia. They love snails. I use a single Skunk Botia in my tank and have yet to see a single snail.
