your input on my first layout, please!

I am about to order plants for my 25 gallon rimless cube (18" per side). Currently I am targeting mid light with a single Finnex Ray 2 7000K placed directly over the water, and will be suplimenting DIY CO2. Substrate is Eco Complete. There will be lots of fish in this aquarium.

At my fiance's request, the tank needs to "not just be a ton of plants" so this is my compromise with plenty of open space for the fishies and whatever plastic figurines she finds!

I'm just looking for your input on the choice of plants; whether they can share the space without dominating eachother, whether they'll thrive under my light+co2 levels, and if this is a "maintainable" layout in the long term or if it's something I'll always be struggling with to keep looking balanced and healthy.

I'll try to post more later this weekend, but this is all I had time for today, sorry! Thanks for your input!
