getting a 75 g ready for planting

hello all,

i have decided to plant my 75g community tank. i have ordered the Catalina solar t5 3x54 setup for lightning and im going to go with with carib sea Eco-complete for substrate. i currently have a ehiem 2075 and an emperor 400 for filtration but thinking about switching the emperor out for a ehiem 2217 i have laying around. so i was wondering what kind of plants i could put in a tank with this kind of lighting.

would also like to know if its possible to do a complete switch out without having to part with the fish in the tank.

currently i have 3 angelfish..3 white tetras..1 pink kissing gourami..1 blue gourami..1 spotted raphael catfish..1 whip-tailed catfish

thank you for any suggestions

With that much light, toss in some CO2 and you should be able to grow about anything you want.

I would put the existing fish in another tank while the 75 gallon is being revamped.
