Shimmy Disease in planted tank

I have a low light planted tank with mostly anubias. I found some snails and added a couple of polka dot loaches to combat them (the snails) and now some of my fish are showing signs of Shimmy Disease. How can I treat the affected fish without hurting the plants? I know I kinda messed up because I didn't quaranteen those loaches before I put them but what can I do now? Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated.

In need of help,

Which fish are showing the symptoms. Shimmy is not a disease, but usually a precursor to a parasitic infection.
