Powerhead recommendation

I have a 75G and I use an Eheim 2217 for filtration. My spraybar is not strong enough and the current does not circulate throughout the entire tank.

I was thinking of adding a powerhead for better water circulation and even CO2 distribution. I used a friend's powerhead temporarily, I think it was rated at approx. 180GPH, it was way too strong. I am looking to purchase a powerhead and wanted to find out what you guys would recommend in terms of GPH and brands. Also, if the powerhead was 'slightly' angled upwards, there would be ripples on the water surface, would those ripples cause CO2 loss?

By the way, I use a 'Rex Reactor' for CO2 diffusion, could that be slowing down the water pressure?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. the spraybar is mounted vertically at the back right corner of the tank. The apray is directed to the back glass.

I highly recommend the Maxi-Jet series. http://bigalsonline.com/catalog/cate...tegory_id=3847

I put in a Maxi-jet. That brand for no other reason that I picked one up during a sale.

I have it low, hidden by plants. The flow is parallel to the back, and directed at the glass.

Do you need to put a prefilter on the powerhead or are you all using them with UGF?
