Cabomba caroliana question

I got several stems of this plant in a 75 gallon package and wondered just how to plant it. Should I separate the stems or put them in a group? Midground or back? Any ideas? Thanks!

I would plant this one stem at a time as opposed to a grouping. The lower leaves of this plant will melt without any light. I would plant it in the back or midground. Somewhere where it is easy to prune. This is a serious weed and grows very fast.
