Stock more, feed more = more CO2??

Suppose you want a low-tech system, and want to avoid CO2 dosing, yet you need more CO2 in the system?

Does it make sense simply to stock more fish, and feed more? This will certainly raise the CO2 levels...

And along with everything else such as nitrate and phosphate which a low tech tank may not able to cosume quick enough.

In practical terms, the number of fish that you would need to stock in a tank to substantially raise the CO2 concentration would quickly lead to an non-viable tank. The other problem with the stocking more fish, and feeding more philosophy is that this creates a very high bioload --> lots of ammonia --> nasty algae growth waiting to happen.

As long as its economically viable. But a liter of Excel costs, what, $25USD if shipping is included. Good for small tanks or big ones owned by Donald Trump.
