I love my ups man!

and my mail carrier too! Today has been a nice day for me, I got new plants and shrimp. Got the kids' shrimp and there were LOTS more than what I bought They are happily swimming around in their 10g tank. the ups man came next with some plants I had ordered. So the tanks look good and I'm enjoying watching them even more.

Nah, ups slaps you with too many handling and brokerage fees. For me it's FedEx (wait, why did that just sound like a commercial?)

OH and congrats on the free shrimp!

I noticed on different TV shows etc. Americas call mailmen "mail carriers" now...this is some politically correct thing right? Like calling man hole covers "person" hole covers...? To me it sounds weird.

Like I tell all the PC parents on my route. The kids can call me a Mail Man. I deliver mail and I'm a man.

The correct term is Letter Carrier. I prefer Mail Man.

well mail lady sounds a little odd to me. We have a mail lady most of the week then 2-3 days a substitute who is male. So since I never know I just say carrier! It definitely ISN'T because I want to be pc!

Mail Lady sounds like Male Lady...which is just weird. LOL.

I have been away from Australia for a while now (6 years) but I am pretty sure we still call them mailmen...as for women I don't know...probably mail sheila (j/k).
