What's the tall leafy plant in the back left? Will that fill in?

And what's in your foreground in the front left? I'd trim that down and replant the stems (if that's how it propagates) so you could see the rocks a little better. And if you can, add some taller rocks. They'd look better if they weren't hiding

Sweet tank so far! I too have a 46 gallon bow front I'm just starting. I need to add updated pictures since I've planted it.

That is dwarf baby tears in the front left and I was thinking I needed to trim them. Which plant in the background are you referring to there are some rotalla indica, a large leaf java fern some type of sword and one unknown species that seems to be growing nicely. I would like to put a nice piece of driftwood in the center and build some sort of cave on the right as I have a pair of pelvicachromis taeniatus makoure that will be calling this home as soon as I get it set up.

Oh and the tall leafy plant in the back left is unknown also I could use some help identifying it. I have had it for one week and the tall leafs are the newest leaves.

Yeah, the tall leafy plant in the back left. Looks almost like a huge fern of some sort.

What kind of lighting do you have, and are you dosing co2 and ferts? The dwarf baby tears definitely should be cut down if you're going for a carpet look.

A nice piece of driftwood or a larger rock would really stand out with all of the green foliage.

Here's a shot of my 46g bow so far.

I use DIY Co2 and I have a dual t5ho and one single t8 running. Your tank looks great BTW, I have a couple other planted tanks 55g and 15g low tech.

That tank looks awesome too!

My initial thought was that the baby tears were getting tall because of not enough light, but you obviously have plenty haha.

So yeah, I think your tank will look awesome with some driftwood or larger rocks, and once that back left corner fills in with whatever that is.
