Little bugs sitting on frogbites

They are almost microscopic. I have to look close to see the little legs. From afar they look like little boogers. How can I get rid of this?

What kinda bugs? Most will be harmless. Fish will eat them. If its a shrimp tank check to see if they are hydra. Hydras love floating plants and are harmful to shrimp.

The little bugs you're seeing are most likely aphids or springtails.

Quite a nuisance once they get established.

Fish don't usually like to eat them & I'm not sure why.

I've literally used a torch to fry the little suckers.

Aphids. They actually look more like fleas. Small fish that stay near the surface will eat them if the insects are floating on the water, but they will not eat them off the plant leaves. Aphids can not live underwater, and need something to hold onto at the water surface. One way to get rid of them is to cut your plants back so the leaves are not floating at the surface.

If you use your fingers to push the bugs off the leaves so they float in the water, then fish will eat them, but only small fish. The bugs are too small for larger fish to see them. White cloud minnows, tetras and others will eat them.

The bugs are feeding off the plant leaves, other than that they pose no threat.

This made me laugh a little (but not in a mean way, honestly). You have a big tank full of animals and animal waste (essentially), but the little bugs are gross. Strikes me as funny, so sue me ....
