Matheson 3102c-508 experience?

Found one these on that auction site for $119.00. Description said it was stored for a long time but still in plastic brand new. Thinking about finally going pressurized with the tax return and need advice on a good dual stage regulator so I dont make a noobish blunder.

This is coming from another noob, but in think it would be fine. Looks like the working pressure maxes out of at 30 psi. That's only a problem if you wanted to be able to run an atomic diffuser. I got a used reg for 37.50 shipped. Also expect to spend another hundred or so on the other parts to get any reg running plus the tank.

Is this the one that has a -30 to 30 PSI delivery gauge?

I believe the 3102C also has a dual port, so you will need to plug one.

Also, specifications for this particular model are lacking, so you will need to do some digging to see if this regulator comes with a CGA320 nipple and nut (or more likely, will require replacing, etc)

If you are feeling up for a challenge and learning more (perhaps more than you ever cared) about regulators and the post body parts, take a look at my guide to Pressurized CO2 (linked in my signature below).

There are also users on these forums as well as stores that will sell you a complete setup for reasonable prices, depending on your needs and your budget.

The -508 designation in the part number leads me to believe that it is not a CGA320 (co2). A stainless steel CGA320 nipple and nut ~$50. I'd keep on shopping - too expensive imho.
