New 60 gallon Cube - stock suggestions

My wife decided to take down her 60 gallon reef tank this past week as she will be going back to school for 10 months and didn't want the responsibility. After getting over the shock I did the dutiful husband supportive and helpful routine and she asked what I wanted to do with the tank after she sold off most of the reef equipment.
Well now, there's a quandry. I want a 4-6 foot long tank because I love denisoni/roseline barbs so I suggested selling it and getting a 75, 90, 108 or 125... should be a direct swap cash wise as her tank is a really nice starfire rimless with stand, canopy and sump.

She thought this was a great idea for a day or two but now she's decided she wants to keep the cube and use it for freshwater. While this is cool it doesn't really help me house roselines and I don't really know what to stock it with. Assuming this goes ahead I'll be using my 25 gallon cube exclusively for CPDs which will be kinda nice.

The tank is 24x24x24" with an internal overflow chamber of about 7 gallons. As mentioned, it is drilled and sumped with 1 return Y'd off into two.

What fish would you put in it? How many?
