Confirmatrion of dry dosing plantex in grams.

I just would like someone to double check my math, and possibly confirm with their scale what I've found. Now this is for Greg's plantex CSM + Iron.
  • OK, now I've found posts that state Plantex should be dose 1/16th tsp per 20 gallons
  • Now I'm working with 50 gallons of water. so that would be 3/16 tsp.
  • Since I only have spoons that go down to 1/8th, I leveled one, and dumped it on the scale and found it to be .8 grams.
  • So that makes it .4 grams per 1/16 tsp
  • which should give me a total of 1.2 grams for my 50 gallons

Now that I wrote this out, I jut cme up with another question: should plantex + Iron be dosed at a different amount?

Thanks
Walter

Thanks Craig, Good reasoning.
I get caught up in details.
I cant see the forest because of the trees, so I get a great big chainsaw, and go to work, when the work is done, I look up and realize.

DOH!
