Book Review?

I'm not new to aquariums but I have never setup a tank with live plants and I am quickly finding out that there is a lot more to it than I ever knew. I am doing as much research as I can before starting a new planted tank. I picked up a book and I was wondering if anyone else has read this book. The book is called

Setting Up a Tropical Aquarium: Week By Week
by Stuart Thraves.

I found one recomendation for this book in the forums by doing a search but I wanted to see if anyone else has read the book and what you thought about the advice the author gives about setting up a planted tank. It seems to be good information to me but I'm a novice.

Thanks.

It's a good book.
Very good, easy to follow and understand info.
The only thing I would recommend is using a canister filter as opposed to internal one described in the book.

I have not decided if I want to use a canister filter or a sump. I like the idea of an overflow with a sump because I don't like having all that unsightly mess of equipment in my tank. Does anyone know how well the Eheim canisters work with the built-in heaters? I am intrested if the heating is adequate and functional?
