Check out the swap and shop section. That would be your best bet.

yep, another vote for checking the swap and shop section of this forum. great plants, great people, and as far as I've seen, prices are fair or sometimes even free Keep an eye out for RAOK (Random Acts of Kindness) threads. Sometimes people will post multiple plant packages for the price of shipping. Even the plants up for sale are reasonably priced. Keep in mind that most of the time its the shipping that's going to make the difference, so finding someone closer to you and using a slightly slower/cheaper shipping method will often get you the plants at a lower price in the same amount of time. A small USPS priority mail package is something like $3.85, and those usually arrive in about 3 days. I've had nothing but good experiences with the folks here (both buying and selling), and always check around here first before considering ordering from an online store. You should post a list of what you are looking for in the swap and shop and see where that takes you.

Robert Hudson from Aqua Botanic has said that he will begin importing from Oriental Aquarium starting in January, which is a source for many of the rare plants that you see in the USA now. I believe this is the source that Dr. Prescott of Aquarium Landscapes used.

The Pets Warehouse link seems to have an amazing number of rare and unique plants available. They only ship plants every 2-3 weeks though. This is the company run by Robert Novak, a man famous for suing hobbyists who complained about the plants/customer service on Internet forums several years ago. That doesn't seem to be happening from them any more - it would be interesting to place an order and see what happens.

No, it doesn't seem to be happening any more, after the "defendants" incurred thousands of dollars in legal fees and RN declared his second bankrupcy. And they ship "every two or three weeks"? LOL

Well, for example, AZ Gardens only ships plants on Thursdays, and the cutoff time is Monday. So if you place a plant order on Tuesday 11/22, you won't receive it until Friday 12/02. It does seem pretty normal that some places only ship plants out on certain dates. I'm more interested in 1) that a place will do what they say they are going to do, and 2) that a place will sell quality products.
