dwarf hair grass worried.

cut to the chase. 10 gallon, eco complete with roottabs, diy co2 2x 2litre bottles, water ferts. 24 watts of plant gro bulb, tank only bout 9inch high. ok so i did have 2x24watt but took out one bulb for algae and this worried me because although my dwarf hair grass was smothered in algae, there was enough light with me pulling off algae to keep it thriving. it was lush green and shooting quite fast. Now that my algae is going...going the dwarf hair grass is turning more yellow than not. Now is this an adgusting period or is it dying?, in which case ill put the second bulb back in and beckon the bloody algae back???? thank you very much. the moss i have is growing well and this is the first time ive been able to grow moss so great and its doing much better now the algae is subdued.hoorah for science. worried about my hairgrass though
