what do you guys think about BW planted tank

i'm thinking of replacing the gravel in my ten gallon tank with a sand bed and i've been reading about brackish plants. i have 20watts of flouresent light over the tank and salinity of about 1.004. i'm thinking of some micro sword, anachris(i've kept some for month and a half but it has been overrun by brush algae) and a couple of dwarf anubias. do you think i could keep these plants alive?

I'm not sure, but i dont think Anacharis can handle brackish tanks. Java ferns are your best bet.

Valisneria and Sagittaria are reported to do well in brackish water, as well.

Just had a look at this page at Lilaeopsis brasiliensis (item #40 on the page). It is claimed that the plant will tolerate brackish conditions but may require more light than you have.
