Cool Hi! Any others here from Seattle?

I just moved to Seattle from Alaska and I was wondering if there are other planted tank people around here? I haven't seen very many stores that sell fish or aquatic plants except for Petco or Petsmart... are there just not many aquarium addicted people around?

Do a google local search for fish store in your area. I can think of at least 2 out there. I know of a few others outside of there. Also, check out the Greater Seattle Aquarium Society www.gsas.org

There's plenty of us around = )

Welcome!

The next (and last) GSAS (gsas.org) will be on planted tanks.

If you're in the south Seattle/SeaTac Airport area, check out A Place for Pets on SW 152nd in Burien. They just opened a few months ago, and at least one of the owners and some of the staff are fishkeepers. I've had very good luck with their fish, and their plants have been much better since they switched suppliers, although I still get most of my plants from the 'net.

www.aplaceforpets.org if you want to look them up.

Oh, and welcome to Seattle!
